Out of Treble is a music blog and high-fidelity audio review site that was started to spearhead a loose plot to take over the world. There’s a very big chance that this website won’t factor into any actual domination of the world, but consider it a good starting point. In reality, it’s one man’s (and a few friends’) outlet with which to write about music (most of it good), with an emphasis on the lesser-known and the indie, though that will at times go out the window. Are we professional? Not necessarily, but we are thoughtful and engaging (we’ve been told so many times at parties so we consider it truth), and for that, you should read a lot and follow us on Twitter and stuff.
The name is pretty darn simple, don’t you know? Read our reviews, and stay out of treble! The name also comes from Kevin Scott, who thought of it in about six seconds while I struggled mightily for weeks. He’s both awesome and a jerk for this. Love him.
If you want to know more about the man behind it all, his name is James Brady and he’s a super successful sports writer who has been involved with a music magazine in the past. You can find much of his writing at Niners Nation and SB Nation Bay Area, and you can call him any combination of “Ninjames”, Ninny” or “Sexy.” His personal email for all things related to Out of Treble is ninnyjams@gmail.com
